Conceived as a debut album -but not a conceptual one-, “Trust” is an instrumental chronicle of a journey and challenge consisting in speaking my own true, personal musical voice for the very first time. I basically consider these pieces ¨animistic music¨, as most of them are delicate, poetic and introspective in essence. Some might sound more nostalgic, moody, inspiring or evocative than others, but they are all interconnected in nature and purpose somehow. In a few words, it is not exactly a series of works coming from my ego. In fact, it is the result of listening to my real needs to express myself through music in a peculiar, emotional and intimate way.

Technically speaking the whole set of pieces could be seen as a collection of tracks resembling some kind of musical output derived from -or coming from- some sort of Classical Music/Film Music, but they are actually driven from the love and respect that I feel for film and film music, creatively speaking. The piano as a central, main character, alongside small string ensambles, few wood instruments as well as the saxophone presence here and there, all this to evoke and translate musically the impact that stories along with music and films have got on me, together with some other personal experiences throughout these last three years.
